These pieces do not have a single artist, because they were crafted by years of car factory runoff and extra paint. They are layers upon layers of car lacquers hardened by the heat of the factories. The factories ran from the 1930s to the 1960s and were deemed too abrasive to the environment because of all their toxic chemicals. These pieces are so inspiring to me because it shows how even though we as humans have caused so much harmful impact to our environment, somehow in the midst of all this mess came a beautiful creation, and it makes me feel like I could inspire someone that way with my art. That is why I do art.
